Grace, mercy and peace from
God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thank you for visiting the website of Calvary Lutheran Church. Calvary Lutheran Church, a congregation of the ELCA, is a community of faith that strives to support and pray for each other as we grow in faith and live out our baptismal calling in God’s world.

We believe that worship is central to who we are, as it centers us in whose we are. Worship is also the place where we are fed and nourished through word and sacrament to go back out into the world with the Good News of Christ.

We welcome you to join us for worship and experience the richness of a life centered in Christ.

Calvary Lutheran Church, Green-Bay, WI

Welcome to Calvary Lutheran Church, located in Green Bay, WI. We thank you for your interest in our church. Calvary Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA ). We are a member of the community (or body ) of Christ. We are a living witness to the grace of God and the saving power of Christ. Being a member of Calvary is being part of a diverse, progressive Christian family firmly rooted in traditional Lutheran heritage. Being part of this communion means being part of something that reaches out to support and share God’s love with individuals, families, the church, the greater community, and the world.

An idea was born in the summer of 1952 when 350 people gathered to worship. Calvary Lutheran Church began as a mission church supported by local churches and churches across the State. Today we are a congregation of over 2, 200 members who are committed to one another and the church. The unique structure of the building is designed not to house God, but as a place for God’s people to assemble.
